This week the company Carthago ceremoniously handed over the last third of the funds collected at the September charity auction of Tadej’s motorhome. After the municipalities of Odranci, Ormož, and Domžale, the Tadej Pogačar Foundation became the last recipient of the funds. Together with the foundation, Carthago will contribute to a brighter future for those facing difficult life challenges – especially those suffering from cancer.
The company’s director, Sandra Županec, handed Tadej a symbolic voucher: »On behalf of the Carthago company team, with sincere commitment to good work, we are donating €28,586 to the Tadej Pogačar Foundation, which Carthago collected through the charity campaign ‘Winning Tour for a Good Cause with Carthago, Tadej Pogačar, and Hitradio Center’. These funds are intended for the assistance program for patients suffering from cancer or for the purchase of equipment for the treatment of cancer patients. May Carthago’s donation help spread our mission and thus ease the treatment path for many patients.«
On this occasion, the foundation’s representative, Tadej’s father Mirko Pogačar, sincerely thanked the company: »The Tadej Pogačar Foundation thanks Carthago and Hitradio Center for the excellent execution of the charity project Winning Tour for a Good Cause. The money you have handed over to our foundation will be allocated to the hematology-oncology department for the purchase of exercise equipment and to the Heroes of the Third Floor, with whom we have been successfully cooperating for some time.«
After a major milestone, Carthago continues its collaboration with Tadej. The first ties were formed in 2021 when Tadej first became the ambassador of the premium brand. Even then the company believed in his potential.
This year’s November 13th was a special day for Carthago – the meeting with Tadej was not only intended for the handover of sponsorship funds to the foundation. After the motorhome that Tadej drove for the past two years found a new owner, a happy resident of Savinjska valley, at the September auction, the company decided to continue the joint journey. This meeting was also an opportunity to hand over a new Carthago vehicle – the third in a row. The c-compactline I 141LE f35 model will accompany the world champion in his future victories on his sports path.
In addition to the elegant black-gold design, Tadej’s large signature and photograph, another interesting and thoughtful detail can be found on the motorhome: the vehicle’s license plate hides his birth date. »I am very happy to have been collaborating with Carthago for three years. Their motorhome provides me with comfort and the possibility of relaxation during training and competitions. I am grateful that they have entrusted me with a new motorhome, which will continue to support me in the coming seasons. I look forward to new joint successes with Carthago by my side,« Tadej added upon the handover.
